new 69/70 conv window sweeps = fun was not had

So I finally just got a set of window sweeps for my 70 Satellite Conv project. I paid too much for them and they suck. The brand rhymes with She-pops. the outside door pieces are too long and the glued on fuzzies on the inside ones are peeling off the stainless. Plus they are too tight, and my window regulator is skipping teeth when I crank up the windows. I can't imagine a more unpleasant experience with new window sweeps in my life.

So gents, I am hoping that perhaps there is a better brand out there that fit correctly, and they are obtainable in a decent amount of time.

Take some measurements for me of what you have.

Let me know the clip fixing centres - and total length etc.

Here's some pics showing my problem. I will take some more pictures tonight with the sweeps off and mark up the pictures with the clip positions.

The outside sweep has a small SS bead with a rubber flap with a fuzzy coating on it. The inside has a flat wide ss bead and has a thick cloth based fuzzy glued to it.
