My father and I are starting a long over due restoration on our 1962 sport fury convertible. We have an extremely solid 62 sport fury hardtop that will be pushed aside so we can concentrate our efforts on bringing the convertible back to life. Its a fairly solid car with a factory 361 golden commando. My dad has spent the past five years helping me with a frame off restoration of my 1957 Chevy windowed delivery and its time to get started on his. He had the exact same car right down to the color when he was a kid. My grandfather traded it in for a dart when he found out my father was sneaking it out at night and drag racing it. Hardest part about restoring this car is I'm new to the Plymouth's and parts seem extremely hard to locate. But I love the body styling as much as my father does so it will be a welcomed challenge. Many think this one off design is ugly and I agree its so ugly its cool!!

Glad I found the forum and its good to know theres a place learn and to ask questions.
If anyone out there has a line on nice quarter panels, a trunk lid or sport fury horizontal trunk lid stainless let me know.
