I have a wedge block on order. I will have to talk with Todd Marsh and see if its part of the December run.

I'd love to have one. Beyond my pay grade.

I agree they are pricey. I would have to check but I think with the aluminum mains I have $3000-3500 in a stock block.
Then it seems like if you can find a world block they want $6500 and even an MP Siamese block they are asking $5500. The Indy block is only about $1300 less so it was a no brainer for me.

Would buying one of these in the "street block" configuration make sense for a 6XX HP and 6XX torque stroker application if I also wanted a "panic button" 200HP nitrous oxide spray plate system (using a 6bbl) or would a well built stock block with this billet aluminum cap and girdle set:

be reliable?
Most of the time I would just be cruising around.
Follow up question:
Would the new heavy duty aluminum block need a tear down at any foreseeable future if I used it at the power level stated with occasional nitrous use in that 200HP shot level, all other factors being done properly to prevent nitrous damage?

If you make 600 plus a 200 shot that is 800 which pushes the ability of the 2 bolt block to stay together. The consensus of opinion is about 750 is the limit for the stock block, even with a girdle and steel billet main caps.

How long you guys been waiting to "have" yours?? Huge thread on another site about this subject.I saw and touched one at Carlisle while visiting with Todd.

I ordered and paid for one last November 30th. Was told by Ray Barton a couple days ago should have it in December.

Awesome news but too much for me to ever purchase a new one. I still have two old 1990's/early 2000's ex fuel/Alcohol blocks that needs some repair that I may try to repair & use someday. Right now one of them is just a display piece in the man cave. The other one on the shelves in the garage

You should get yours soon, mine got shuffled during the changeover of management.

Thanks a lot Mike!
For all I know, trying to make the most out of appx. 600HP and 650 torque could take the rest of my life to get the best traction and E.T./mph in my cruiser....
I'm actually rethinking those numbers after seeing a .030 over 440 non-stroker do 590HP and 545 Torque with a 6bbl (which is what will top my engine).
THAT may be plenty of power leaving me a lot left over for a triangulated Gerst or RMS rear suspension vs a stroker...
