Anyone know the spec on A36 trim code?
I assume 3.55 rear with sure grip. The car sure turns a lot of RPM for a 3.55? Runs 3300 at 60. Its a very low milage car that might have the axel tag still on it. I'll get under it soon.

73 Roadrunner with P225/70 14 tires.

Thanks Chuck

Just jack the rear of the car up. Make a mark on your tire and drive shaft. See how many times your driveshaft rotates for one wheel rotation.

Seems a bit steep for 3:55's sounds more like 4:10's. At this point, unless you know the history of a car there could have been anything done. Except for a few 318 or slant 6 cars, i havent had a car with the original motor in it. Ahhh, if only cars could talk.

Thanks guys.

I had a true Mopar guy go over it last night. Its missing the heat shields over the headers. (Has performance headers Y21 code) the shields are a likely deletion for racing.

The package may also explain my car missing a S-77 code for power steering???

I don't follow the purpose of the shields? Why pull warm air into the air cleaner? Is this a cold start enhancement with a heat valve in the passage from the shield to the air cleaner?

Back on track for the thread --I'll report back. But the car is going into storage after a major service --I got to sell one to get back into it.
