Let's see $3.3M -$6400. Yep, that leaves lots of room for the balance of the restoration.

Fine, they can repro those, but they can’t repro 66 Satellite fender trim, grills, seat backs, or tail panels, etc.

There are a bunch that could use properly repo'd top of fender trim. Your must be mint or close.
Sure there is, but you missed the point. Daytonas and Birds are being cloned and restored weekly, there is a market for noses. Nobody would pay what it would cost to roll out 66 Sat trim in today's economy.

I feel your pain. Fortunately, ( for me anyway ) I have spares in all of it except the grill and head light doors

I'll add hood ornaments, Yet we have 3 people making hood ornaments for the 67 . And not one for 1966

But I think you’re missing part of my meaning. How many people are cloning Superbirds and is it really in the best interest of the hobby to fake cars? How about supporting a portion of the legitimate market that wants to restore their cars of which there are probably thousands still existing? And it doesn’t have to be a 66 Satellite. Could be body panels 66/67, 68 Coronet trunk lids, 70 Charger fenders, etc. just saying.

The top of fender trim shouldn't be to hard? Compared to wheel well trim. Was at a NeHOA/Mopars meet and a guy had a 66 Hemi Satellite all the trim was great. He bought a 30k always garaged 66 Satellite and switched trim.

Sure there is a need for all of this stuff, but there isn't the market to justify tooling costs.

As for clones, 40 years ago you'd be shamed back to the sewer for even adding Bee emblems to a Coronet. Today is a while nudder world!

And to answer Fran, yes the top edge trim on my 10,000 mile Sat is pretty much mint.

I guess I’m just failing to see a significant market for these nose cones, to justify their tooling. And yes, I am fairly old and still see many things from a perspective of 45 - 55 years ago.

Someone needed 1, to justify tooling. Now the tooling exists, why lose money by not making more.

There are all kinds of parts that need to be made.
Unfortunately, 66 Sat trim is low on the list.
How about 4dr B windshields, 66-70 and 71 up. And my C body, that has no glass.
Surely the volume on those, exceeds trim for one model.

Don't forget 61 pioneers.
