so yearone has the harness but uses the 4 prong ballast for electronic ignition, electronic ignition came out in 72 so were did you mount your ballast? Or did you cut your harness to work on your 2 prong ballast.

I'm not much help.....I spliced the blue/brown wire into my MSD ignition & removed the ballast. I'm trying to remember....but I think it's absolutely no problem to splice that harness to work with a single ballast resistor. I "think" on a dual ballast, the blue wire is spliced to go in to both sides of the ballast & the brown is attached to the "out" side of one of the ballasts...can't remember what comes out the other side. But for your single ballast, just blue on the "in" side & brown on the "out" side of the single ballast and you're good.

Year One harnesses are made by M&H and are quality stuff. Look for a discount code and you can get 20-30% off. If your going with the electronic harness to upgrade from points the 4 prong ballast will install in the same location as the 2 prong.
Yep,I know M&T makes them thats why I bought it. Yearone tends to say they have stuff and 3 months later your still waiting that why I dont care for them. They are a supply store that all.Love their discounts thats about it.
