Hey guys and gals!
Brand new to the site as of tonight. I have a Six Pack GTX. Just had it dyno tested at 555 hp. It's a resto-mod with the motor stroked to a 494. Finishing up on a restoration, then I'll post my pics. Looking forward to being a part of the community.

hi and welcome to the site ,we will be waiting to see your GTX :headbang:

Welcome from a fellow oc resident. Let's see some pictures.

Hi there GetX'd, welcome! How are things? Weather okay? Uh huh. Good to know. Mind if I get comfortable while you post your pics? I'll be waiting! Oh yeah.

Seriously, nice to have another fine Mopar enthusiast join the forum. What year is your GTX? Any year is fine, just wondered... :)

The GTX is a 68. More importantly I've had the car since I was 18. It was the first car I ever owned. Love that car! And a Mopar guy all the way!

Welcome from Minnesota, look forward to pictures.

Welcome aboard "GetX'd"
Sounds like a strong engine you have!
I'm a So Cal gut here at Eddies AFB

Welcome, sounds like you have a beast, can't wait for the pics. I've had my GTX since I was 18 also, 35 years now.

I've not had the pleasure of meeting too many that have had their GTX so long. Very, very cool! What year is it? How do you get parts?

Mine is a 1970 six bbl track pack car, bought it my senior year 1979 from a close friend, it was my second car.
Nowadays parts are easy to come by, most is reproduced, and with the internet you can find allot of original stuff too.
This site is also gold mine of information and parts.

I restored mine over 20 years ago when there was no internet and almost nothing reproduced for these cars, spent allot of nights with a landline and Hemmings motor news.
If interested you can see a few pics of mine by clicking the link to the left.
I think we all want to see some pics of yours.

That's pretty cool. I love the 1970 year GTX. Love six packs too. Mine is a six pack as well - it's a 68 so not correct - but I added the system because that's how much I like them. Also have the black six pack hood from 69. I'm not so much a purist as much as build them like you like them. Then again I love perfect too!

I posted pics under the restoration forum. It's looking pretty rough because they are pre-restoration. It's under "Tired Warrior 68 GTX". I'm 80% done with the car. Just about to the paint it stage. You all will be the first to see the finished product. Can't wait to feel that pedal after 35 years and a serious motor upgrade. It's all matching numbers - just rebuilt.
