Hello all, I've been surfing the site for a little while, figured it was time to join.
I hope to be able to ask some questions as I am restoring my '70 Dodge Superbee and I want it done right the first time.
Thanks in advance for the tips and advice,
txfirefighter (Paul)

Thanks ricomondo. It's got some serious rust in the lower quarters and rockers but Im hoping if I go slow, all will be ok.
What are you working on?

Welcome from PA!

Looks like a nice project and it seems to be in pretty good shape. They (just about) ALL have rust. From your pictures, it looks pretty solid. Most of the cars seem to need trunk floors and floorboards, so if yours does not, you are ahead of the game!

Look forward to seeing more pictures!

Welcome to the site. Get a resto thread started so we can watch progress. FK5 paint correct? That will really look sharp with the white c-stripe.

Thank you kindly. It'll need a trunk floor but the floor boards are great, no rust! Over all the car is a solid survivor. Just needs lower quarters and rockers. THANK GOD!!! lol

Thanks for the warm welcome! I will start a thread once I have something to report as far as progress. The fender tag states FK5 paint code and from what I can tell (haven't ran the numbers yet) is it's number matching car. I will be sticking to the original color of course. It Hasn't been molested, just sat for a long time under a car port.

Welcome, Paul - great car!

Good to have another smoke eater aboard, too.

Thanks everyone! I will be starting a new thread for the car. Any suggestions for a catchy thread name?

Welcome. Im doing a 70 Bee also. Yours looks identical to mine when I first purchased it. Same color, stripes, everything. Mine came with orange interior. Is that what yours has?
