Hey everyone,
I bought a 2006 Charger SRT8 in December after having driven Ford trucks and SUVs for the past decade. I recently was hit in an accident, got the check, took the car to the shop, and the shop burned down. So I got another check and bought my SRT!
Part of the motivation was when my father passed away a couple of years ago. The first car I ever rode in, on my way from the hospital was a 68 Super Bee. When I was younger, I would go with my dad to Mopar shows and look for parts for his 1970 Challenger RT/SE he was rebuilding. An ash tray here, badge there. It was great time with my dad. He died right as the new Challenger hit the streets. He wanted to buy one and just never got the chance. I kind of wanted the Challenger, but have a new baby and the first car he ever rode in was a Charger SRT!
I ride my Harley most of the year, but missed the fun factor when driving a car so I got the Charger. Now, I am fixing up my dad's '97 Dakota for my daughter and am hoping to get a '68-'71 Super Bee for a long-term restoration project.
Thank you and I hope to meet you all.
Thanks,
Spidey
