New Hobbies in the Future

Future hobbies! I've tried doing a little of everything since I retired 17 years ago. Woodworking is out for me, it was my life since I was 21. I built furniture for the most powerful person in the worlds family, all the way down to soap box derby cars for the kids down the street, the last one was a 57 chevy, I have nothing left to prove.
I've built everything, bought everything, gave everything, taught everything I know. That took up the first few minutes. I've wondered about it more now with nothing left to give, I'm going to be 69 in july. I post, but I'm getting posted out. Cars, boats and trucks have been my escape, not my life. I know nothing about Mopars and I'm sick of Chevys. We'll see.

I’m 66 now and I think that by age 75, I’ve got to start getting rid of stuff. I don’t know what I would do with myself, but I’ll probably keep one Charger, even if it just means going out to the garage and looking at it.

My wife just told me yesterday that I should set my drums up. It's been a while. I still have my blue Ludwig Vistalite kit that I bought new in the 60s. I set them up and play left-handed. Rock, jazz and blues.
I still have my original Dixie set, and my Slingerland set both from the 70’s (if anyone remembers those brands)
Haven’t played for 20 + years, wife is getting worried I’ll start up again when I retire later this year

I built a lot of cars for other people when I slowed down doing my own. I really like redoing 80's bikes now. You take a total basket case and work at a moderate pace and it's done in a few months max. Also have a professional camera setup and I'm getting into classic 70's-80's stereo setups too. There's always something to do so you don't have time for honey-do lists.

Used to race mini R/C cars in my driveway in the summer and inside the garage in the winter. We had a little league going for about a year. Had a computer program and lights for timing (the cardboard thing over the start/finish line) and a little trophy and everything. lol

Much racing and carrying on on Tuesday nights.

I will be 58 in May. I have another 7 years at least to work. I have no other interests other than cars and racing. If money or health are an issue I will go to garage and look at my car and watch races on YouTube.

Future hobbies? Charging the battery in your EV....
Make sure to remember the battery terminal fasteners on the driver's side are left-handed.

I plan on working on and restoring cars as long as I can I’ll be 64 next month
Semi retired
I also have some old mini bikes and small motorcycles to restore
I told myself no more full restorations
I can across a 1970 roadrunner convertible project last year that I couldn’t pass up. Should be back from the body shop soon
I also ride a Utv
I’ve told my wife I have enough projects to last me 20 years after I die. She wasn’t impressed

Same one Ive had since I was a kid ( off an on )

Shelf version of the cars I like. Mostly factory stock, and old drag cars

As for the 1/1 car I won. It aint going anywhere I don't care what it does in regards to value . be it up or down
