Not one of the factory gauges in my 66 Belvedere II was working. I got tired of having to move my keys to see the auxiliary gauges, so I took some inspiration from a reply to a post by Chris Gleason (thanks Chris) and bought some aftermarket gauges for the cluster. Making a new backing plate was the hardest part. I tried using a sheet of acrylic. It snapped just as I was installing the gauges. I had a piece of 1/16" stainless steel lying around so here we go. Wiring all these things up will be the fun part.

That will look nice. At one time someone was selling aftermarket custom panels for 66s.
