Just joined as I’ve started to work again on my 64 Polara. Sat in my parents barn for the last 15 years, but got it running last week and on to rust repair! Here are a few pics of the car and the first place for rust to be tackled behind the fender. Enjoy the pics!

Welcome to FBBO. I just bought a 64 Polara myself. Enjoy the site!

Thanks everyone! It’s a 318 console auto with a red interior. Before I stopped working on it I put in a later rear axle with a sure grip, new leafs and had a 440 rebuilt. Never got around to buying a transmission for the swap. At this point I’m most likely going to stay with the 318 and get it on road to enjoy the car. If I start with converting it to a 440 it will sit for another 15 years…. I also have a 73 barracuda with a 340/4spd that is pretty nice so I don’t need another go fast car right now.
