glad to join you. i,m an old school -old guy, so being computer savvy does not come easy for me. i am pretty crazy about mopars , however.
i have a 1969 charger 500 se , b-5 blue, leather, 487 hemi ( 4.323 bore x4.150 stroke) this is my street car.
my bracket car is a 1965 plymouth belvedere hardtop ( turquoise) with left over WoO sprint car block, a 4.00 crank, 4.125" bore ( 427") cp pistons, bullet roller, w-8 heads, footbrake 727 and a 5.13 strange dana.
in the 60's thru the 80's i raced lightweight galaxie's. since i started fooling around with mopars, the help and advice i've gotten is appreciated

Hi and welcome aboard!
Thanks for joining the forum.
Great "team" here...

Somepics would be great...
Sounds like some nice cars!

Lets see that 65 Plymouth!

hi super-bee- ski, i have some pics on my i-photo but don't know how to put them here.
i am a 1 finger typer, so it's painfully slow for me to reply, sorry!

Welcome aboard. Super Bee Ski is absolutely correct. Great people here with a lot of info to share. And I feel your pain about the computer.

I have no clue on how to post my car pictures from my iphoto to this site, but my hemi charger was featured in the november 2008 issue of car craft, and my belvedere was featured in mopar muscle october 2004. it can also be seen on you tube as " wheelstanding 65 plymouth. I have a feeling that i'm not knowledgeable enough to be a competent member of this forum, as much as i'd like to.
I have raced at; the old kcir, gateway, Bandimere, Pueblo, kearney, ne. ,douglas, wyo, las vegas, rolling thunder, and bakersfield.
If you see me at the drags, stop and say "hi" love to see others mopar projects. M598 DIV.5

Welcome 427sbm, when you figure out how to post pictures I would be real interested in seeing those lightweight Galaxies also if you have any pics of them (I really love those Fords). :headbang:

Welcome from Maine!

Welcome to F.B.B.O. The picture thing can be learned, it seems tricky at first but lots of us had trouble figuring it out! As for your next statement, Ha! From what you've already told us, you are more than knowledgeable enough to be here. Heck you have years of racing in your blood. Some of us, myself for sure, only really started playing with cars after our children grew to the freedom point! Go ahead and one finger type, I only use two at the most!
:hello2:

Welcome from Vermont! I'm also a two finger typist and the photo thing wore me out for a few days too. You will get there..

sounds like a great car,
I'd love to see photos posted in the general discussion or racers hangout forums

welcome to FBBO

you can also download photos straight from your computer browser too,
with out a photo hosting link/site like Photobucket etc.

Just click Go Advanced in the tab below the post/thread response box
when that page comes up, scroll down to Upload Photos click on that
then follow the prompts, to files or photos on you computer browser
Use the select file tab near the top right in that box,
click on it, then find your file/photo off your browser....

I AM PRETTY PROUD OF MY OLD PLYMOUTH, I'VE HAD A LOT OF HELP FROM SOME REALLY NEAT PEOPLE. THE ALL STEEL, ALL MOTOR 65 PLY HAS RUN A BEST OF 9.74 @ 137 AT BAKERSFIELD. MOST PEOPLE THINK IT'S A CLEAN 14 SEC. GRANDMA CAR.
