Hello to all the members here !

I am the "new kid in town "... My name is Juergen, and I am living in Duesseldorf / Germany. 5 weeks ago I bought a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 with a 440 cui RB /HP engine... the car is originaly from Palm Desert Ca. ( also a real black plate car )... so thanks god - the rust story seems to be not the issue right now.

I owend a lot of Ford/ Chevy / Jeep cars before ....also a75 Firebird ( like the one in the Rockford files ) but since a good friend of mine bought a 65 Coronet.... I was "infected".... and now.... I am a proud owner of a 66 Coronet

Currently I am resolving some things i.e brakes / electrical things... detailing... and so on...

Greetings from Duesseldorf
Juergen

Thank you all for the friendly welcome here !

Yes..... the car looks good..... but there are some "constructions" to resolve.... ie. cooling issues...
but I hope to get it fixed the next days..

Greetings Juergen

P.S the color is "CREAM".. I love this color...the real 60 th look

I personally like the 66-67 Coronets styling better than the Chargers of the same. And, yeah, you got a nice combo there.

Welcome Juergen. you are real fortunate to have purchased a car from CA. i bought my 69 RR in 2005 in the dessert, and this car does not have one spot of rust anywhere, with all original sheet metal. cant wait to see an in car cam of the autobahn lol! jk.

Welcome Brother!!! I used to do a lot of liquid dieting in Palm Desert, CA when I was in the Marines......I really miss that place.

Welcome Juergen, nice car.

Heres my car from your country.

Welcome mate and nice looking ride!

In Dusseldorf, what side of the town square is the cathedral on?

Those that know their old war movies will remember! :)

Cathedral ?? In cologne there is a cathedral... but here in Duesseldorf, we only have churches... even the biggest one is a tiny chapel...compared with the cologne cathedral.

And again @ all Thank you for the warm welcome here in your community !

Greetings from Germany
Juergen
