I fell in love with my first B body and MOPARs in general when I was 12. While mowing my grandmothers back yard I stumbled on the coolest car I had every seen a 1969 Super Bee. It was in my grandmothers neighbors back yard and seemed like it had some interesting stories to tell. I ran home to tell my dad about the bright green car I had found. When describing the emblems I had seen he declared "that's a Super Bee!"
My dad and I tried to rescue the car from its grassy grave for many years and finally when I was 18 I was able to buy my dream car.
The car is a F6 green 383 4 speed car with a white bumble bee stripe. It was parked in 1974 after a tragic meeting with a telephone pole.
At 36 I have still not driven the car under its own power but it has certainly taken me down some strange roads.
This is my first time joining any forum. I look forward to see what comes of it.
The pictures are from the day after I got it home. I had forgotten my camera when we cut it free of the Johnson grass tomb the day before.

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal. Good luck with your project. Super Bees are cool b bodies

Welcome aboard! I can't understand how people can just park these cars & let them rust away. Have any up to date pic's?

I have never understood letting them rust away either. I now have friends that are letting their projects return to the earth and it really annoys me that they have turned into the men we used to complain about.
I haven't gotten anywhere near where I wanted with the car but it's no longer rotting. I took it to an old school body man that worked all the original sheet metal. I got messed around on some of the work and paint.
I'm really wondering if it is time to give up on my dream and get it to someone that will get it back on the road.
