I fell in love with my first B body and MOPARs in general when I was 12. While mowing my grandmothers back yard I stumbled on the coolest car I had every seen a 1969 Super Bee. It was in my grandmothers neighbors back yard and seemed like it had some interesting stories to tell. I ran home to tell my dad about the bright green car I had found. When describing the emblems I had seen he declared "that's a Super Bee!"
My dad and I tried to rescue the car from its grassy grave for many years and finally when I was 18 I was able to buy my dream car.
The car is a F6 green 383 4 speed car with a white bumble bee stripe. It was parked in 1974 after a tragic meeting with a telephone pole.
At 36 I have still not driven the car under its own power but it has certainly taken me down some strange roads.
This is my first time joining any forum. I look forward to see what comes of it.
The pictures are from the day after I got it home. I had forgotten my camera when we cut it free of the Johnson grass tomb the day before.
