I actually joined in November while searching for a 337 M1 intake, but failed to introduce myself at that time.

Born and raised in the St. Louis, MO area and have been around high performance cars my whole life.

The 64 Plymouth in my profile pic has been in the family since new, with my boys being the 5th generation behind the wheel when they become of driving age. It's mainly street driven, but we also bracket race and compete in the NSS/B and NSS/C class when we feel like it. Original paint except for the fenders and hood. Original interior except for the A100 front seats and carpet. The current engine is a mild, flat tappet cam, pump gas 440 with Indy EZ heads and factory Max Wedge intake. It dynoed 578hp with the factory intake, and 608hp with the Indy inline. It's docile enough to drive around town, and is taken to the local cruise spot almost every Friday night. It's pretty heavy @ 3775lbs w/o driver, but runs 10.90s in its current configuration. (Historically runs mid 10s with the 'good' motor, but we removed it for freshening up, and never put it back in since this one is so low maintenance.)

...and I'm still searching for that elusive 337 intake. I have a TrickFlow 270 headed 500" pump gas motor going into my wife's 70 Barracuda, and need it for hood clearance. (Thinking the Indy dual plane may be too high.)

Welcome.
Sweet 64. I did the Mopar Monster show there for 10 years. St. Louis is a cool town. Do you know Al Wilson?

Welcome from Alabama, those Max Wedge intakes look awesome and run great on our old cars.

Welcome to FBBO Scott! That's one sweet '64 and its single-family history is truly awesome. Originally from St. Louis but a bit north of you now near Peoria, IL. Son & grandson still live in north St. Louis county. Maybe we'll see each other if you come up to one of the events near Springfield, or vise-versa.

Welcome from just across the muddy Mississippi ! I like the old Plymouth! I have many friends on your side of the water. I’ve seen your Cuda a few times over the years.

Welcome from WNY, That '64 is just Awesome, along with it's History !

Welcome from Michigan the Motor City! Nice stable of Mopars you have there. 440'

Welcome! Great that you're still running the family car! Thinking out loud.. isn't the 337 a standard port intake? Haven't dealt with those much.

Howdy from St. Peter's (yes, the apostrophe is correct)!
Used to live on the street behind the Science Center when Stan Musial's restaurant was there.
I'll keep an eye peeled for ya!

Welcome aboard from Ohio. One family car just like mine, nice!

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario. That is a great looking '64 Savoy you have, with an even greater story of family ownership for so long. There seem to be quite a few '64 Plymouth owners on this site.

Welcome from NY State, always nice to see another 64 in the family!
