Super Bee / Coronet questions build direction

Hi all!!!

I am looking for a 1970 2 door Coronet / Super Bee for a project so first if anyone can help with that I would be very thankful and even offer a finders fee or a new M4 rifle if its the right car.

I have a few questions though. Last year I restored frame on a grandma 2 door Malibu into a 70SS clone the car was solid and already had boxed control arms SS sway bar cowl induction hood 12bolt and a awesome 396 all I did was paint, replace bumpers and add SS trim the trim and bumbers were cheap. I did some engine tuning and other mech stuff as well.

Well I sold this last month to get a car I can enjoy more often and wanted since they re released them a 2013 Plum Crazy Challenger RT Classic Super Track Pack.

I love Chevelles but they are always easy to find and cheap to build on. I love Chevelle because in high school (mid 90s) I was around them alot, lot of friends had them and or thier dads had them. To me the Mopar stuff has something special with packages they offered and the almost comical model names. Not to mention I have a new Dodge I love now and a history with the Coronet model.

I know the 70 Coronet was a one off year so parts will be harder to find and more costly. I am not going to flip or sell this car as I have always wanted one. My grandfather drove a 70 Coronet 383 and my some of my earliest memories are of this crazy car with mean looking eyes LOL.

Since I have this awesome Challenger (Dodge did an awesome job on these IMHO) I am not in as big of a rush to get this project done but want to get a car found and the hard parts bought. Also my son(15) is a big time hunter and fisherman (more that I am) is REALLY getting into Mopar I am surprised and happy to see this developing. He will be working on it with me.

Is there a good source for new parts like the Chevelle but for the Coronet?

Can you get new bumpers and grills? Bumpers are a pet pev of mine.

Are there parts I should get now due to lack of availibility?

What other Mopar cars interchange and what parts interchange? The Charger? Satellite? Roadrunner?

Thanks and yes I will really offer a finders fee or new M4 as I am the general manager for a arms manufacture, so saying that I would love to trade into a Coronet with guns and cash if the sitution arises.

I wish some one would start making the grilles for them. Also that are not any companies making a rear tail panel at the moment. The grilles are not cheap when purchased used either. My Ex sold my grille set that I had already restored on Ebay for $300. Now you will be lucky to find 1 side for $250. However I got lucky myself & a friend sold me a broken set for $125 but all the pieces were there & I was able to restore them. Just about all used ones will be cracked along the bottom also. Other than those items I mentioned most other parts can be found with places like Year One, Dantes Parts, PST Suspension, Classic Industries, Rock Auto, PG Classics, BE&A Restoration, Mancini Racing. Those are just a few of the popular places I have used. But shop around & check all of them with each part to get the best deals.

Well the Bee proved just not worth it, not enough repo parts and getting a nice restore is cheaper by far then doing one ourselves so Im onto a roadrunner which was a close second from the start please help me find ether a 1968-70 basket case to move to longer term storage OR a 71-75 driver needing mild restore

There are a few near you over for sale in the b body forums on moparts.com
