Hello everyone, I just joined but have been using this site throughout the restoration of my 67 Coronet 440. I have owned the car since February and work on it just about every weekend.... it’s addicting. Plus I have been wanting this car since I was 12. Like stated before it’s a 1967 coronet 440 with a 318 and 727 transmission. As far as I can tell it’s a numbers matching car that had been stored for about 20 plus years in California .

I purchased the car from a gentleman in California that told me he was the second owner. The first owner I think owned a Dairy farm in Petaluma and only drove the car inside the farm. It has 68,000 original miles that I was skeptical about. But as soon a I started working on the car was convinced otherwise. No rust anywhere other than a couple pinholes in the trunk. All it took to start the engine was to clean the plugs when I got it and idled like a champ. I have now replaced the radiator, installed an all new steering and suspension from PST, a front disk brake conversion and countless other mechanical components.
