I know the term "Barn Find" is overused, but I just found and acquired this clean 66 Charger from an old farmer here in my area today. He's owned it for 22 yrs. and has not driven it for the last 10 yrs. It's a true survivor with only 88k. miles on the clock. It's a clean honest car w/ original paint, interior, trim, bias ply tires etc. 361 auto and nicely optioned.
I'm going to have my guys in the shop tune it up, do a brake job and get it mechanically sound which is basically all it needs.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to keep it. Our shop is full of cars now with no room to put this one. But I promise to post it here first when I decide to sell. These pics don't do this car justice. This thing is clean, solid and straight. What do you think?

Finding any 47 year old car in as original condition as that is a score. It's a big block with a/c; how can you go wrong?

Congrats!

man nice car i wish i had the space myself or i'd be all over that charger.that would be nice sitting next to my 2013 charger SANY0411.JPG

That is a nice find. I could probably make room for a first gen Charger if I could find a nice original survivor like that.

That 66 Charger looks awesome, great score !!

Sweet Charger! Also kudos for driving it some in the winter!

Wow, what a beauty. You don't see them that clean very often. Make sure she goes to a good home when you sell and not one that will tear her apart.

Love it! my first mopar (1967 Barracuda) was same color, I have a buddy that might be interested wish u were closer.ove to see it! thx for posting.

I had a buddy with a 67 GTX that was that color. Look really cool and classy

I know you can't say how much you paid but, was it a good deal? Just curious how much a original first gen Charger in that condition is going for these days.

I traded it for an 06 Mercury Mountaineer I had for sale. He needed it for his Daughter who is heading off to college. I had about 9500.00 tied up in the Mountaineer, so I know I came out ahead. SCORE!
