Well, I found out today that my K-frame is no good, to the point that my body guy does not want to try and fix it. He is trying to calculate the costs and the ride. He wants me to go to the new style of lower frame, such as a PST or Q1A vs. me trying to find a used K-frame. The old one needs to be rebuilt, (ball joints, tie rods...ect).
So my questions is...
Who has installed the new frame? I'm sure it rides a lot better, but it does not have any "stock" feel. The only real change I am going to make to it, is to badge it as an R/T charger since I am putting in a 440 instead of the 383 that came with it. I might put headers in also.
Decisions, decisions,
Any thoughts would help me make my mind up.
Here is a pic of the K frame, someone welded in the sleeve because it looks like it came out In a crash or something like it.

It also looks like if I go with the new system, I would have to change the upper and lower control arms to a tubular design.....sound like a lot of money.

They new units are modern, but if you want a nice original I have one. I can have it blasted and powder coated as well. it came from a 68' roadrunner many years ago. I can send pictures of it if you like.

Qa1 K-Frame can use stock components and is fairly reasonable. The one I bought from them looked great.
