Just put these on yesterday, thought I'd share.

Wheels are 15x7 with 4.5" backspace by Specialty Wheel. Tires are 29x8 by Towel City.

Still working on getting some hubcaps on the back but I like it as-is too.

Before and after.

Those make the car! I'd leave the caps off the back for that "fresh off the track" super stock look.

Yep they make the car! I agree with Meep, leave the caps off.

Thanks, yeah I like the look too. here are a couple more, sorry for the bad cell phone pics.

The car just looks right. Clean, good stance, and looks fast sitting there!

Beautiful car. Just checked the Specialty Wheel website. Very nice, but pricey. Do you have the original 10" hubcap wheels or did you go to the more popular 9" ones?

Thanks for the great comments everyone!

The fronts are the original 14x5.5 with the 10" cap, the rears have the 9" cap register.

Specialty wheels were a little more expensive than the standard Wheel Vintiques, but specialty had the 15x7 with 4.5" backspace... and with Vintiques that's a special order size = $$$.

Specialty Wheels are made in the US; Wheel Vintiques are made in Mexico.

Both good products though.

Jeff that's what I'm talking about. Now people won't think you're taking some old ladies car out for a spin.

BTW...........Do you know what you have for a measurement from inside to inside of brake drums? :eusa_think:

Hey, I heard that! :angryfire:

For the measurement do you mean the inside rim lip to the inboard side of the drum backing plate? If so the drum sticks out about 3/4". Check the picture.

When I took my measurement I went from inside drum backing plate to inside backing plate ( right on the little round semi circle bump to be exact),

Just curious as to what it is as there was somewhat of a diff. between Zack's and mine. I think he had 56" and I had 51". The previous owner of my car did say I had a shortened Dana. Trying to figure how it will effect my rim back spacing if at all.

Ah I see what you are asking. the only measurement I have is the distance between the brake drum's wheel mounting surface to the outside edge of the leaf spring - that's 7.5" . I got that when I was measuring for backspacing.

My axle is the stock 64 setup, so if your measurement is different you can tell by measuring what I described above.

Sorry for taking this off course, without taking the wheel off it looks like I have around 6".

BTW, I like the looks of the tires you have on the back end now.:headbang:

in fact here is the diagram that I made when trying to fit my wheels. It shows what the inboard and outboard clearance will be on a 64 Dodge with different rim widths, backspacing and tires. measured on a 28-29" tall tire.

Maybe it will help somebody.

Thanks now I'm totally confused. :icon_confused:

I didn't think your car could look more awesome but it does!
