Just bought a 1965 Belvedere. Sorry, it's a 4 door, don't get excited!!.....
The underneath is extremely clean, and solid, unusual for my area! But the lower quarters will need some work, If anyone makes panels for them. Few other things. It has a slant six. I am guessing a 225. I just got the car home today. Drove very nice! Just need to start doing things now. Just wanted to say "Hello" from Pittsburgh, pa.!
Here's a link to my photos!

Thanks very much guys! I appreciate the welcome. I am looking forward to having fun with this ride. Just have to debate wether to pump the 6 up, or swap over to a V8. I must admit. I truly had fun riding around on the drive home today with it.

Welcome. Whatever you do with it have fun and drive the snot out of it.

hi and welcome to the site ,nothing wrong with 4 doors :headbang:

Welcome from Hanover PA !! Just let us know what we can do to help !!

Thanks guys. I am confused on the drivetrain part. I have to see my engine numbers today, I think it should be a 225. I don't know if anyone normally messes with them, seems like it would be fun.
I am glad to see no one laughing about the 4 door. I just could not afford a two door car. As odd as that sounds. Especially with kids living at home still....LOL

I know a guy in MD that runs the slant 6 in a cuda with a Turbo. Fast as crap !! You can put a header and intake on them also. I use to run a 300/6 in an old ford truck with a header and aluminume intake with a Holley 500 two barrel carb. Ran just as good as any 302 !
the fun thing is Play with it and make it your own !!

welcome to FBBO from NorCal

welcome to FBBO that car looks good to me now drive the wheels off of it

Welcome! Number of doors has nothing to do with how they run.. :)

Thanks! I just got home. Went and took it out. Had my buddy throw an inspection sticker on it. He actually new the car, and the last sticker on it was his...LOL
He offered me a 440 motor, and 727 trans, and a K member, all for 1000 bucks. I just don't know if I have it in me, to do a total swap out.
I do see some of the sixes running pretty well.
Mine is running odd right now. Has a sputter at idle and running rich, soon as you hit the gas it takes off and runs well. I think the carb needs rebuilt. Sat for too long. Steering seems to have a lot of play, probably the steering box...etc.
I honestly love this car. Great feel driving it, and looking at that old fashioned dash!
I did find cliffords performance! I see goodies....!!!!!

Welcome from Michigan. As long as you enjoy the car it doesn't matter how many doors there are. Have fun in whatever direction you go with it.

Your car is super nice. The condition looks excellent, the body and chrome all seem to be in great shape. Enjoy from another Pittsburgher.
