Picked up this 2015 Ram 2500 4X4 quad cab Cummins diesel. 107 thousand miles. 6.7 turbo diesel. And I bought a 3/36 extended bumper to bumper.

If ya can, get the free spin hub conversion for the front, you’ll pick up some mpg’s, coast further and a bit lighter on the steering. A big plus is the front driveshaft will stop spinning all the time.

Ok I’ll look into that

Been thinking about this for my '01 Cummins....tough to cough up the $$ on mine though, since I already get 20mpg loaded! (6 speed manual, 3.54 gears, 5.9 Cummins with Edge Juice, open air filter, and 4" turbo-back with muffler)

Nice score. I love mine! 107? Just barely broken in...mine's about to crack 300k. Put a clutch in it at 250; have to rebuild the vacuum pump for a chronic oil leak. Other than that, though? Fill with diesel, drag stuff around, repeat as needed.

Looks like you can pull a house outta the ground with that thing. Nice buy

You don’t need one since your axle is actually a 2 piece axle on the passenger side. You could install free spin hubs, it would allow you to have 2low, good for backing up 5th wheels.

I converted one to free spin hubs and didn't see a mileage increase. I don't think the slight extra drag is noticed by these torquers.

Yeah the mileage gain isn’t as much on a 2nd Gen as it is on a 4th Gen.

Good info...glad I haven't coughed up the dough yet! I'll keep running it the way I am. I do need to reseal my axle disconnect actuator though...that's the one thing about the truck, the constant oil leak issues. Granted...almost 300k (280ish), and granted...3 GALLONS of engine oil...but still, annoying. But...rustproofing, I suppose lol

Cool truck, good luck with it...
