Just thought id introduce myself. My name is Dave, and Im from California. Ive been into LS1 powered Trans Ams for a while, but have always wanted to get in to a Roadrunner.
I will soon be acquiring my Dad's 1968 Roadrunner. It needs work, but heres a quick description:
68 Roadrunner
Orginal 383/4 speed car
Painted Go ManGo
Black interior
Building a 440 to go in (Will be posting questions soon)
Front Disc Brake conversion (dont remember the brand)
What it needs:
Some paint work (Painter did a bad job)
Wiring
Brake install
Suspension/Trans/Rear Rebuild
Wheels/Tires
Brake/Fuel Lines
Headliner/Interior Trim
Finish building 440 and install (Ported 906s, stock shortblock)
Im looking forward to learning as much as i can as i build this car.
I want to build a pretty healthy performer that will be daily driven. I dont have any problem with driving a big relatively aggressive cammed car every day, and i want to make sure this setup is well planned, and pretty stout.
