Newbie 4 speed question

Hi, 1st question since joining the site today. I have a 1974 Roadrunner I'm considering swapping a four speed in. I know whats involved but I'm not up on myA833 trannies. I have an opportunity to by an A833 . This transmission only has one mounting for the shifter and the number on the case is PP8332670 and the # on the shifter case is C-99386. Can anyone tell me if this will fit my car?I got a bad feeling this trans only fits A bodies.Thanks

According to what I can find, it's a b body transmission.

b bodies the shifter is mounted just after the main case, a and e bodies is right at the end of the tailshaft i am pretty sure.
but from your numbers it keeps coming up as an aluminium OD a body tranny for a small block so it could of possibly come out of a truck also, if anything give brewersperformance.com a call and they will be able to tell you exactly.

I called Brewers performance today and they told me this trans came out of an A or F body.Not a good choice for my B body. Thanks for the help guys
