Newbie B-body Owner

Hello All,

Two days ago, I bought my first Mopar(66 Belvedere). I don't know much about Mopars. But, I'm hoping to change that through here.

A little about the Belvedere. It is a running basket case. Not much info came with the Belvedere. I know it has a 727 transmission, 8 3/4" rear, multi leaf spring packs with slapper bars and non working air shocks, disk brake conversion on front, and some kind of wicked sounding BB. Was a bracket car, now trying to get it to do double duty street/strip. I'm trying for the sleeper look. But, everybody knows there is no such thing as a sleeper B body.

MikeyT, yes the building is only part of the addiction. Add the Adrenanlin rush when driving into the mix and the addiction gets expensive real quick.

It came from the factory with a 318. But the P.O. supposedly stuffed what ever this is in it.
