One of my buddies is selling his drag coronet. Great car he has to move and taking a serious haircut to get it sold. Thought I’d share for the folks. Message me if interested. He’s somewhere in the $20-22k range and negotiable.

Does this car seem to be too good of a deal, it is. Over the last 10 years I have invested, guessing, 70 grand in the car. She will run almost any class you want, footbrake, sportsman, pro, super pro, super street and AFX.
66 Coronet with a 14 point cage with a new 8.50 NHRA certification and new 5 point seat belt with camlock release.
514ci wedge motor Molnar crank, ealge rods, JE pistons, Comp cam and lifters, Harland Sharp 1.7 rockers, Edelbrock victor max wedge fully ported heads, Indy port match intake and APD 1050 gas carb. Msd 7al3 and Msd distributor with crank trigger ignition. Racepak sportsman with 2 o2, vacuum, fuel and the regular sensors.
I will give my laptop with all my data, that will go with the car. Most of the data is in Denver but it is a lot of data.
The motor has zero runs since being freshened. Powerglide has zero runs since being freshened. JW case and Bell, pro trans brake, straight cut planetary and 10 disc clutches
9 inch Ford rear. Strange rear center section with 4.30 gears, Mark Williams 35 spline axles and spool, extra 4.88 gears.
Ladder bar rear suspension. Front (Qa1)and rear shocks(Strange) are double adjustable shocks. Front suspension and manual steering box have been rebuilt. Upper control arms are Qa1.
Still has factory floors and rails. If you want to run NHRA super street I have a electric throttle stop that goes with the car. Very consistent car on the stop, flat graph on the stop 11.50(altitude correction Denver) 131MPH. I have won many races with this car. I have learned to race in all classes in this car. Stepping up in class to top sportsman or Super gas.
Price to sell for a turn key 9 second race car. My best time was in Topeka, 9.42 @ 141. The Coronet needs nothing to go racing. Fire it up and go win rounds/races/championships. Racing season is coming fast. I can work with you for delivery of the car .
