Thank for the memories, It's funny how you remember certain things, That was just freaken cool, I'm pretty damn sure I was there in 1971, with my step dad Bob & his 69 or 70 GTO The Judge, I know we went south to go to the opening day drag races of Ontario Speedway, we were pitted right next to Mickey Thompson, I was like 12 years old...

you made my day! this was when there was an art to the car. now the cars are the same if you throw enough money at it.
find some more of these news clips, i saw another one the other day about Smokey Yunick and the Chevys. it was really good also.
These guys had to make their own high performance parts, and never had to be politically correct. if you didnt want to hear what came out of their mouths, then--- you shouldn't ask them anything.
