Has park and head lights but brake lights none.is there a fuse for just them or maybe something different?

What kind of car? It does have a fuse separate of the tail lights, at least ot should, and goes through the switch on the pedal. Check that first. Make sure its functioning

It appears we are dealing with a 1970 Roadrunner.

Check a few things - Steering column power connector half way down the column - 2-3 connector blocks, ammeter connections - can be burnt, bulkhead connector, test all your fuses, and if all of that checks out, you may need to pull the steering wheel to check the switch for the indicators.
If the indicator switch feels limp and no positive action when moved, it is possibly the problem. The feeds to the brake lights run through that switch, whereas the park and tail lights run through the main light switch. :icon_thumright:

He sounds smart :iamwithstupid:

Only Joking. Check the brake light switch. It's pressed in with no brakes and is released (connecting the circuit) when the brakes are pressed. Had this type of problem thought it was a fuse, wiring, lights. Nope, it was the $3.99 switch. But again that was on a charger. Not sure if that's the same setup as a RR?
