This forum used to seem fun and made me feel like there was a lot of really friendly people here. Lately with all the comments i feel like its too goody goody for me. No I dont have a Bird or an original R/T so I guess I belong over with the A body guys. I will check in from time to time. If you need something you can pm me. I guess i,m just a regular guy and not cut out for the arrogance. Maybe some day i can be like yawl and have a real car.

Within any community cyber or otherwise you have good genuine folks and then some
a-holes. I tend to like good down to earth folks and ignore the others. I have found this site to be pretty good. I am honest in indicating I am a rookie, but have gained a wealth of knowledge over the past year and a half of owning my first muscle car. There are a lot of people here with a lot more knowledge of Mopars than I and I have found them generally to be very helpful. There of course are always the few exceptions.

I don't recall seeing any disparaging remarks concerning cars that aren't the "top of the rung" as it were. I dig them all. Had Satellites and C body boats, a few A's. Shoot, my Duster isn't anything. It's a leaning tower of power car originally, but I dig it as much as any other car I own.

I'm a little confused though about your comment concerning "friendly people" then saying it's to "goody goody for you". I thought friendly people were kinda goody goody. At least they don't attack each other maliciously.

Send me a PM and tell me what's up

What up dare? Your car is as cool as any other car on this forum!

You and Runner hold this B-body forum together!

Don't let a couple of *** clowns ruin it for ya! Stick around!

I've been in a lot of groups, live and on line. If some people don't act properly and I leave, they win. If I stay and they end up leaving, I win. If they get their act together and stay, we both win. That's how I operate. Please stick around!

Why worry about A-Holes. They want to get a rise out of you and when you do you step right into their hand. Hell dude my car is for sure not all that except to me. It is mine and it is paid for, and its alot of fun for me not them. That is the way you go into this crap, Remember the cup is half full, not half empty. HANG IN THERE DUDE!!

I've been lookin' for some samples of what's being referred to, and I'm at a loss........

If you feel there's a real problem, a PM to a Mod might help us to understand a little better. At any rate, it's never a good idea to quit so easily.........then others are cheated out of what you have to offer a site like this.

Yah, what all of these guys said!!!, and very well put actually. There are probably tens of thousands of people, including myself, that only wish for a car as nice as yours.

If you get your feelings hurt about how "some" people act on the Internet then you are taking all of this too seriously.

I try NOT to get real "involved" with people personally on these web forums. I don't see them as a "lets make a friend" sites although I understand that many people make new friends thtrough these sites, I have never met face to face anyone on these sites that I didn't already know.

I use them as an informational tool that I learn from and try to give back with help when I can.

Like with all of these sites there are always people that take things personally, get bent out of shape, and use these sites for a lot of their interaction with people rather than face to face. It is good and bad. It is just like our kids today that are glued to their computers, game boys, and cell phones, they need to get out and interact personally with people. More of us need to get out in the garage and finish our cars or drive the ones we have finished.

Hmmmm, I'm not seeing the problem either. I like this place and I actually spend more time here than I do on the A body forum. Oh, and my other car is a 66 Belvedere with rip and roll interior, paint falling off and a greasy 383 so no arrogance here.

I didnt like the way everyone jumped in to rip Donny in Runners Hemi car thread. It was Runners place to say something. Everyone that blasted him publicly did just as bad as him. Kind of hypocritical. A pm to him may have been more appropriate. Then he could have just went back and edited his post. This is not the way i treat people who served military till retirement and it struck me wrong. Dont know if anybody really cares but its jmho. Go ahead and blast me i have some thick skin. Some things should be handled off to the side. DD

I don't think anyone wants to "blast" ya...........

You saw something that ticked ya'........thought it was mean, and that's good character. Our sites need guys who stand ground on solid moral principle.

I haven't seen what you're talkin' about, but I'll try to being it up anda take a look. Hang in there.......This is a great site.

Sorry DD. I didn't see what was said until after others tried to direct their attention to the sticky post at the top of the page. Those comments just don't belong. Shoot, go to FABO and look at the 72 340 Cuda thread in the for sale section. Couple of people stickin their noses in. Just doesn't belong. Hell, one of the MODS even had a comment that "I" don't think should have been made. That kind of thing is allowed all the time over there, and it pisses people off.

Bottom line is this has nothing to do with someone's service in the military, or if they set foot on the moon, or panhandle on the corner. It has to do with what your mom and mine told me as a kid.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

That goes both ways. nothing i can say to make this thread any better except pm people when they are out of line so things will be handled discreetly and we will all get along much better.Embarrassment is a hard pill to swallow and is not quickly forgotten. We need to keep all our members so everyone should think about what they post on both sides of the fence. And youre right. A bit of restraint can make you a much bigger person.

OK...enough of that.

what tha hell have you done to or with the car lately????????????????
