Hey there! My 1970 Charger was running fine yesterday then when I went to take it out yesterday, I had zero power to the ignition when I turned on the car, nothing with the key on or accessory, I’m generally new to mopar, could it be the starter solenoid, neutral safety switch or ignition switch?

Elementary yes, start with your battery connections and cables. If you have an auto, try starting it in neutral...just a few of those easy possible gremlins to rule out.

I had a 69 Bee with a bad connection at the bulkhead connector. I could wiggle the wires and it would start right up.

Welcome. Please elaborate. Is the battery good ? Is it the starting circuit or the ignition circuit ? If you trace either, you'll find the culprit.

Yes, the car has been restored. Everything is brand new, one thing I did not think about is the fact the power runs through the voltage meter, talking to the previous owner he said he had an issue where the nut came undone on the gauge and he tightened it in the car started right up.

Talking with the previous owner, he said that he had an issue where the nut on the voltage meter came undone and he had no power to the car. He said he tightened it and it started working again, I drove it about 1.5 hours home the other day when I purchased it so it must’ve vibrated back off.

Is this a volt or ammeter? In either case, notably the latter, NOT a good thing one of the leads can work its way loose. Highly unusual thing to happen. As you say you’re new at this, those connections are heavy load, if you start looking at this make sure to disconnect the battery first.

Yeah the gauge in the dash, the negative was loose and a little crusty, the terminal post itself has some movement so I'm going to replace the gauge itself, wiggled and snugged it up and it's working for now! Thank you for replying!

I see you found it

I was gonna' say

maybe try a lil' blue wire
as the 'Fuseable link'
up on/the starter relay, up on the firewall
a lot of time when they blow it's internal to the wire, you cant see it
but sometimes you can feel it broke inside

Loose post on the gauge isn’t good, especially if it might break off, fire is a possibility. Sounds like someone might have overtightened the bolt or stressed it at some time. JMO, not knowing how ‘loose’ the post is, wouldn’t put off replacing the gauge or having it repaired for too long...
