Hi Guy’s here’s my issue. I have a 1970 Coronet project I purchased. Previous owner did a lot of work on it. I connected the battery a couple of weeks back for the first time, car has brand new fuel system with electric fuel pump. At that time I could hear the fuel pump come on and the car would crank did fire it as well.
Fast forward to yesterday, I put gas in the tank and turned on the ignition again. I let the fuel pump prime all the way until it stopped making a noise and then went to crank it. It cranked once and then nothing. No power to the dash or fuel pump anymore and now it won’t even crank over car is completely dead.
Checked power feed from the battery up to the bulk head connector and have voltage. Fusible link is good. Checked grounds and they all seem good. Checked other side of the bulkhead connector and have voltage. Is there an overload protection anywhere?
Thanks
