Which master cylinder would be correct for use with a 63 Dodge 440. I think it now has a power brake master cylinder on it and want to install the right one. I will be mounting the proportional valve where it belongs and installing new lines.

Bob,
I think you will find the original master cylinder is the same power or manual.

I should have been more clear, I want to go with a dual master cylinder but I think that the one I have is for power brakes.

i think what you have in the picture is a power disc brake master cylinder. i'll try to get a picture of a drum brake replacement dual master cylinder. the original types are no longer made.

this is what i use for drum/drum. power or manual are the same. this is a common/easy to get master cylinder. fine lines and right stuff have conversion kits for early b-bodies to use the dual master cylinder.

Thank you, found several new ones on ebag, now I need to see if my hardware will work with it.

all those master cylinders need is the correct push rod for the early b-body.

Then I should be set to go...
