This is an factory original NOS air cleaner base, Chrysler part number 3577357.
Being sold with a factory original NOS oval lid, part number 2946188,
or a nice original oval lid repainted and with a Hemi decal applied.....your choice.
Application is 1971 B-body 426 Hemi with fresh air, that is for Plymouth Air Grabber hooded cars, or Dodge Ramcharger hooded cars.
While this base is available from a couple reproduction houses, the reproduction is not even remotely close
to these built by Fram for Chrysler for assembly line cars and depots.
The reproduction is a one piece stamping powdercoated, while factory originals like this were a two piece unit with center
spotwelded in 20 places and painted good old black enamel right over bare steel as per Chryslers blueprint.
If you have a real Hemicar and want correct North American manufactured assembly line parts this may fit the bill.
