I have a lady interested in an original Charger / Cuda "FUEL" gas cap I've had for several years. This is NOT the $100 repop you see on ebay -- it's a NOS item in its original blue and white box.

I see comparable gas caps on ebay once in awhile for $500+ (yikessss!!!!) but mine has a small divot / gash that could be repaired. A few flecks of paint are also missing but the chrome / scallops are in amazing shape.

She's very interested and made a somewhat nominal first offer but I don't want to rip her off or be ripped myself ... I'd rather see her finish her car than plan my retirement off this thing. I just want to be fair.

Yes, I do have a low post count here but have over 5,000 on FABO (I own a '68 Fastback Barracuda); I figured you B Body guys would be a more reliable audience with accurate input since you're probably more familiar with these.

Here's a few pics of my gas cap; I have 19 more if close ups of anything in particular are necessary for a good evaluation (I'll add a couple of the box / part number in my next post).

The red you see in the pictures isn't rust either, it's a reflection of the red jacket I was wearing when I took the pics.

Any input would be sincerely appreciated! Thanks for taking the time to read this. :-D

$200. up to $350. to the right person. Put it on Ebay with no reserve and let the interested party know it is there and they can bid on it with others and you both will find out what it is worth on that particular day.

Leanna, I don't think you could be invisible in the dark.
(This is the bump, things work a little slower over here).

Dont want to ruin your day cuda chick but repros sell for 150 right..If you get 200 id be happy...I know nos sells for a crap more but lets not go crazy its just a gas cap..meh

LOL! You aren't ruining my day at all. I've seen both on ebay (repops were closer to $100 that I saw, but it's been awhile). The originals don't come around very often anymore. As I said in my opening post, I don't want to rip the lady off or sell myself short and mine is admittedly not perfect.

I do appreciate the input guys!
