NOS Chrysler assembly line rear shocks, part number 3400620, both 1969 dated, $200 pair

These are Real NOS assembly line rear shocks, both are stamped the same part number 3400620, both are stamped the same 1969 date code. Not easy to find NOS shocks both stamped part number and date coded the same 1969.

Located in NJ.

I worked in the plants. Parts were mostly in 4X4foot, stock boxes [usually wire], with a layer of cardboard between each layer of parts. Chrysler wouldn't have paid for boxing each item on an assembled car. Even trim. We'd get "empty" stock boxes from other plants, and there'd be new parts laying under card-board. Parts may have been made in the same place, on the same day, but......

My assy line shocks were semi flat black... Just sayin'

Nice parts to the right guy in any event. You could strip and re-paint. The numbers and date codes are what makes them valuable, IMO.

Read the dumpster guys got rich from parts tossed.

You wouldn't believe the stuff that got liberated. Especially, if it was from another plant. Most supervisors didn't care. Remember the Johnny Cash song?

Do you guys really need me to spell all of that out in an ad? Okay, here we go!

These shocks were in bulk cases of 10 shocks per case, the shocks were not always the same part number or date code in each case. These shocks are exactly what came on the cars when new, (assembly line shocks), the only thing different is the color, these are a gold color, cars came with black.

No need to waist time on shock color, I thought we all learned that many years ago?

Want to know the color of the case? It's white with a brown/white label.
