Here is a set of the GOOD Richmond Gear Sets that are Brand New!
some of the last ones. Made in Italy (They were the Best)
These were made in April 2013 right before the move the
plant to India and their quality plummeted!
They fit the 489 Case (1 7/8 Pinion) and have the easy to find
10 tooth yoke. (I have them in 7260 / 7290 if needed for $50.)
I have been hoarding these for nearly 10 years as the India made
gears are not any good for our high HP cars. I cannot get a decent
pattern on the India made gears as it varies from tooth to tooth and the
runout is terrible.
These were a spare set in the trailer for my 340 Demon E/SA Stocker
that runs mid 10 but the identical set in it have 10 years and 500 runs
and still look perfect. The newer gears in some of my other cars have given
out after 25 to 50 runs.
