Didnt notice that. But it looks like a factory shifter hump. I think. Maybe the column was replaced at some point. Hard to tell from the limited pictures.

According to the fender tag it was an original auto trans 383 car. The 4 speed has been added at some point

I’m going to look at it later this month. The owner sent me a pic of the fender tag. It is a 999 code car
