I didn't think that there was anyway to say how many were made with what options. That must be 1 of 5 in a registry. I want to see less paperwork and more `68.

Craig's List only allows 4 pictures.

The seller is trying to attract a buyer that is interested in a documented car. A serious will contact him for more pictures and info. If you are a buyer contact him.

He obviously did not run his ad for picture collectors but rather SERIOUS buyers.

His ad and his information is worthless.
He thinks a 68 Hemi Runner with manual steering, brakes, windows etc... is very rare???? That is how most I've laid eye's on were built.
People need less nonsense in an ad and more detailing on their car's if they want to sell them period!

It's not a particularly unusual Road Runner. Special yes, but one of several hundred. He should have sold it in 2000, he waited too long.

what the hell is a 727 with a 3 on the tree? sounds like a scam to me and this dude has NOOOOOOO idea what he is talkin about . anyone with such a..... as he puts it ..... "RARE CAR" WOULD NEVER USE A CONTRADICTION LIKE THAT !

I agree. Something is not quite right. The spelling and the way the sentences are structured seem not quite tight. I'd be very careful with this one. Just my $.02!

Nothing unusual about a column shifted 3 spd 727 in a `68 Road Runner as that was the only option available to shift your automatic that year.
By the way 696pak, I'm no stranger to Craigslist and not a big picture collector thank you very much.

That's why I think that as always, buyer beware. If I hear the term, three on the tree, I believe it to be a manual shift 3 speed, not a column shift automatic. Again, not sure this is bogus or not, but I would be very wary. Just me!

The picture collector was a general comment and not really directed at you. What I am saying is that CL has unlimited text but limited pictures and size for them so it is really just a marketing tool to wet your appetite about a car. Interested buyers can contact the seller for more and larger pictures of what they want to see.

Beware

...its a fugazi ........ this clown sure has no car sense in his description of the car ...nor does he have spell check

wow, interesting responses. I though the add was a little odd before I posted it, but I did not think it was a scam or such. Just not worth that est. in 2012.

My observation- not a great idea to tell everyone on CL that you have a $100,000 car, and then give your name, address and phone #. If I was selling a car of this caliber I would likely be more careful. He even shows the VIN in the appraisal.
