That’s what I thought. I’m not against it, in fact I have a PG shifter in my Coronet.
I always scratch my head, though, when someone goes to so much trouble to restore a car but changes one very visible part. That’s what threw me off ; the car is so nicely restored that I thought perhaps the PG belonged there.
But I also have to admit that in that car a white cue ball shifter looks better, to me.

Woodgrain ball would be the correct shifter knob in that car.
