NSS intake question

Is the Indy Mod Man intake (Wedge) approved in the various NSS groups? Most groups address things like sheet metal intakes and tunnel rams but I also know there are some slight variations between the different groups. I'm in the Midwest so I'm mostly concerned with groups like the NMCA, Victory, Buckeye Stock/Super Stock and the NSS class at the Mopar Nats.

Think it has to be the INDY bathtub cross ram for NSS, not sure

Yes, it is approved for NMCA and VICTORY NSS.
One of the best intakes out there with single and double interchangeable bases.
Many NSS Cars are running this intake.

You can run a custom intake or sheetmetal intake for NMCA, but not for VICTORY.
This is not a Custom intake, it is produced aftermarket.

In NMCA I believe you can only run a sheetmetal intake in FX classes.

I dunno, sounds correct.
Few other Classes would bother with the astronical cost of a sheetmetal intake.

That's all real nice Doug and your car is without a doubt one of the most beautiful, well engineered and fastest cars out there, not to mention your driving ability but I'm trying to get some information here for a friend on the legality of a specific intake for NSS racing within various sanctioning bodies.

Thanks. That's one rule I was sure of. No problem with the 9.75. My friends car will probably end up in E or F class. He just wants to participate. He is mostly motivated by his love for mid 60's Mopars and his attraction to NSS racing.

Always good to have more racers. I have heard good things about the mod man intake. My friend is switching from Mopar crossram to the mod man, waiting to see the difference.
