numbers on a 727 trans..what are they?

I am trying to figure out if the trans is the one that came with the car. The numbers I took off the side by the oil pan are:

PK2392093L 2840 195
Any idea if this is the vin number of the trans.
I also found the nymber:
176-1
on the bell housing.
Any Ideas?

You need to look on the passenger's side for a raised pad. The VIN should be stamped there
