Has anyone used the offset spring hangers and shackels on a 66-67 B-body before? It looks like it moves the spring inboard around 3/4", right?

Remember your rear spring hangers should be reinforced with a 90 degree angle bracket when you move the springs in. THe 1 inch will make only a little difference since the wheel well is so small.

I've know John Wolfe for about 20 years now. See him at the Denver shows. Pretty good guy. Been messin with Mopars for decades and ownes Mopar Madness. 2 years ago at a swap he bought 7 flywheels from me. Cleaned me out.

I thought you probably knew him bein from Colorado and all. He's done me right everytime.

Check with Dr Diff about offset hangers and shackles. Cass may have something that works. His kits move springs in about 1".

Snakeoil,
The main reason for contemplating this change is I purchased a dana that has been cut down to 52 1/4". The original 66-67 b-body rear is 54 1/4" wide housing. I will be replacing the spring purches anyway so why not make a little room. Thanks for the insight.

I, too, went with Cass's set up. I like the way he went about it, specifically not having to drill a hole in the frame rail.
