Og 1969 rr

Very industrial looking tach, but otherwise sounds and looks like a very cool car to have.

Can't say I've seen a tach like that, does look like a multi meter LOL!
That green was very popular in 1969. Whats very desireable to us Californians (at least me) is the black plates. Late 69 was the last year for black plates, the letter sequence is correct, starts with X which was the end of the line for those. That combo was very popular, bare bones car to keep cost down around $2900 or so with 383/4 spd for fun

I agree it's cool, but I don't really understand how an unrestored car with 40000 miles can bring a premium price like that. Cool factor is up there for sure since it is unrestored, but I just don't understand the mindset of a well treated used car being worth more than a freshly restored car of superior quality. It is just a base model RR in the most common of configurations. Bench, 383, all manual, green, open diff, etc. jmo

The price is a bit high but what it is, is what makes it unique, roadrunners in 68/69 were mostly low to no optioned cars just like this one, with a 4 speed, that was the target market back then. Guys like me (19 yrs old) back then ate this shxt up. They were mostly 383 cars with no options, that's what we could afford. This one appears to be a real one from then, not a made up 440 car.

I like it (except the tach). If it's as nice as it appears in the pics then the price might be justified because it's original and nice condition. And it got to CA early enough to get the black plates with the correct first letter Z for 69.

Nice car but yes the price is up there BUT have you all seen what people are asking for 69 runner's !?!?!
That Tach is one you got as a Kit and you bult it your self ( at least looks to be one ?)
I have an old one here at the shop an older freind gave me that he bult.

Would I want to pay that much? No, but I haven't really seen anything better in my neck of the woods.
