well...WAS going to a cruise in, but there was a nice puddle of oil on the garage floor.
i am pretty sure its the front crank seal. was about 1.5 qts low, but have been running her pretty good, hard launches etc.
can that cause the seal to go?

after thought...just replaced the header gaskets w/ Remflex and the tech said he had to jack the front of the motor up to get the headers out of the way...any coorelation?

by your picks you have a bigblock.i would check to make sure you dont have any damage to the front of the oil pan where it meets the timming cover from the jacking.kinda hard to hurt the front crank seal, crank wont alow any movment there.could just be normal where if it is the seal and not the oil pan gasket.make sure your oil filter is not leaking, that is very common.
