I just put an AutoMeter oil pressure in my Coronet. When I started the car it worked fine, next time it didn't, next time it slowly built up pressure and then worked and now it doesn't at all.

I used a tee from the engine so I could run a low oil light and the gauge. I believe that this is the issue. I am thinking about ditching it and running the gauge from the other oil port.

What do you think????

the tee should not be a problem- if it's mechanical, make sure your line is not kinked, electric make sure the wire is tight

Might as well run them seperately since there are two ports. That's how I set mine up.

I used the copper line but it does have a lot a bends in it to get it ran where I wanted it. I am thinking about switching over to a braided line to see if the line is the issue. If that doesn't do it then I am going to the other port.

I am not really digging the tee because it is hard to get to so I can get it tight.

I swear I am not an idiot but this car is figthing me all the way. I am going to change the cars name to INFESTATION because it is full of bugs.
