Neighbor wants to pick this up and doesn't care about the wrong things or any correctness just wants a 65 bel.

Are those stripes on the hood an option? what do you guys make of the custom wood dash? Looks like crap to me but hey for a modded up rig it's ok. and is that 4 speed hump in the right spot?

Don't remember stripes like that being an option. Looks like someone patterned them after the later Roadrunner stripes. I agree the dash looks like crap and I don't think it was an original 4 speed car. Also has later model high back buckets which don't look right in that car. Price is too high for all the Mickey Mouse stuff it has... like the diamond plate fan shroud.

Ive never seen stripes on the hood of a 65 like that, and the way the boot looks on the shifter, it looks like an automatic floor hump. Not a 4 speed hump. Seats look to be 70 charger. They drop the one off the front of the price, then i would consider.

Those stripes look more like what they would put on a '64 nova. The wood dash doesn't do anything for me unless it was in a 30's street rod. But if your neighbor wants to buy it, it's his money.

I love '65 B body Plymouths. The wood dash inserts could probably be changed. 4 speed lever looks to be correct. I'd be checking the thing out from underneath though. Did he booger up the floor when he replaced the original bench seat? Price seems high for what would probably be a car just to start with. I couldn't drive it this way.

Looks like someone tried to make a 69 RR clone. LOL. Tower back buckets with stitching to match. Hmmmm wood grain dash. Even down to the stripes. Love the checker plate details. Half azz brake line job obvious for disc brake conversion. Can be do-able. But bring a magnet.

If they cheaped out on fixing the dash with a piece of wood, imagine what the rest of it is. If you know what filler sounds like when you knock on it on a panel then check it out.. But for that price.. no way in heck. Seats need to get swapped out right away and that dash has to go

No if you look at the column you will see the automatic indicator, some one just cut a hole in the floor for the shifter and added pedals. The way it is and for that kind of money I would make them correct all the shoddy work.

Checker plate, or diamond plate....a convenient way to hide things like...rust!!

I think 8 weeks or more lol neighbor is a chebby guy so am laughing inside to sew if he drops his coin on it.
