Since I'm now in "sell anything that ain't nailed down" mode here, I'm digging
stuff off garage shelves that have been there forever.
I need some advice on what this stuff is and more importantly, if it's worth anything.
Here goes:

First item is a set of these original wheels:

IMG_20200809_150721663.jpg

A set of what appears to be 15 x 6.5 rallyes, original and unrestored. lots of cosmetic blemishes and little spots of surface rust here and there...

Actually, for originals, not too bad. Worth anything much?

Next up:

These appear to be a set of 14 x ?? rallyes, again originals unrestored.
Also have a lot of shelf dust and imperfections from past use on them,
but in nice shape for originals.

I want to say they're 5.5 wide?

With either of these sets (one of them I have 5 of, I think the 15" ones), if I
was going to use them, I'd clean them up, scuff their faces and give them a shot
of fresh paint and slap them on. There's no dents or even curb rash to speak of.
I also have a set of original "acorn" looking center caps and a bunch of stainless
trim rings too, I'm guessing enough of either for the set.

Finally, here's a set of 516 heads:

I pulled these off the running engine that came with the GTX years ago and
replaced them with a set of 906's, thinking that would help the engine.
Turned out, the engine had issues down in the crank/main bearing area...
But it ran pretty well and didn't smoke and these look like they've been redone?
I dunno, are they worth anything?

Thanks as always, y'all. These aren't doing me any good and it's getting pretty
desperate around here....

I've sold a bunch of stuff on ebay and a few things on the forum over the years also posted ads at our local post office. Latter was a set of 14" 3-piece magnum wheels a guy saw and got $300 for them with decent tires on them. Right time and right guy wanting them. Problem selling these items are size & weight paying a ton to ship them. I've posted some things on ebay for local pickup; but where I live I think I sold two things in 10 years that way. Can't say much about the heads; but some out there would sure like to get their hands on them for a rebuild. I usually check prices for stuff on ebay to see how people are pricing them to get an idea what might be an attractive price. And some like C-list saying they've sold stuff that way...I don't as I don't want people coming to my house. I did sell an item a few years ago on C-list and had the interested buyer meet me at a busy gas station in full view and surveillance camera's in case they had some bad intentions.

If you measure from inside the bead seats you'll get a closer number to MFG specs.

Those 15x6.5 are kind of odd birds.

Extremely difficult to find trim rings that fit. Value goes up if rings are included.
That said, I happily paid the equivalent of $50 a piece for a pair a few years ago, but they came with rings.

I'd value the 14x5.5 at about $25 each. Rings are easy to find for them.

If you were closer, i might take the 14's off your hands! I dont really need them, but always wanted a set of 14's just to keep with my car as its all original, except the wheels.

That brings up another good question:
How much does it cost to ship these sorts of things?

last time I shipped a couple of 15x7 steel wheels, it was USPS , and it was 40 a wheel. it wasn't the size, it is the weight. you have to really want them to pay that on top of the original cost the seller wants . pretty much a deal killer for me.

Don't mind me. Since nobody much is answering anymore, I'm just going to use this thread for my picture/inventory staging area....
I dug and dragged out all the wheel related crap I have for the first time in over a decade and here we go (all of this stuff is original, no repops, shelf wear, some spotty surface rust here and there that wipes off with some Mothers').
Here we go:
14 x 5.5 rims 3580058 4.5 BC QTY:3

14 rallye side.jpg
14 rallye with ring and cap.jpg

14" trim rings QTY:6 These have no "lip" on the inside.
A couple are road rashed, the rest are fine:
14 rings no lip.jpg

14" trim rings QTY:2 These have a slight lip inside.
14 rings with inner lip.jpg

Close-up of the 14" rim part number and typical date code:

15" Rim stuff (again, all of this stuff is original, no repops, shelf wear, some spotty surface rust here
and there that wipes off with some Mothers'):

(4) shallow 15" rings that probably don't belong with these rims, in good shape:

3699461 and date codes typical of all of these:

Last, the lone 15 x 7 rallye 3580071:

I'm thinking a quick local sale of like $450?

Good luck with the sale Ed! I don't have a clue as to value...

I have ran across more 15 x 6.5 rims that 15x 7. They are not that rare out here. They are a BUNCH more desirable than the 14 inch wheels though.
Shipping weight is the killer. A guy in Virginia asked about a '71 340 iron intake I have for sale at FABO. The shipping quote was $111 from CA to VA. Uhhh...that kills the deal!

Yeah, preliminary indications on shipping these heads came out to like $100 each. That's nuts.
Fortunately, it looks like I found a buyer for them today locally, so they'll be gone soon.

I'd pay $200 for a bare set of 15" Rallyes with or without caps and trim rings.
I'd pay more if they were really nice.

I've got the whole kit and kaboodle up on FB Marketplace for $450. We'll see....

The center caps add value. OEM trim rings do too.
Try to buy them new....The wheels have to be at least $100 each from Stockton Wheel or Wheel Vintiques.

I've had these sitting on shelves for a long time now, probably 20 years or more. They're straight and look
original as heck, but they aren't the highly desired 15x7 everyone is after.

The FB market place is the way to go these days n seems to be the new fad, there are a lot of followers for mopar parts on there. And i second the motion as shipping is a killer here also

I'd love the 15" rallye's if you could figure out a way to levitate them up here for free.... as I have one messed up rim on the Bird. Figure it's been there for 30 years, there's no rush...

Shipping companies seem to be gouging a tad these days for sure.
I'm just trying to sell off anything that isn't nailed down so as not to have to
sell the GTX....

Had a dude swearing last evening he was coming for the heads...
backed out this morning after doing some research apparently,
said he thought he was buying 915's when my ad is explicit in stating 516.
Oy...
