Mike what class did you run in in that 68 RR ?

Mike what class did you run in in that 68 RR ?
We ran it in SS/CA NHRA,
It was just a basic 426 Dual Quad 425HP Street Hemi in those Hemi Roadrunners.
We had a sponsorship from the local Plymouth Dealer.
They GAVE US the car to race (and return when done)
They paid for everything to get the car ready to race.
We put in 4.56 Gears, Hooker Headers, Goodyear Slicks and paint and lettering and started running the car.
We were then ready (after a couple months of racing) to do the motor...but...the dealership went bankrupt and all of their cars (including this hemi Road Runner) were on the bank floorplan.
The bank came to our shop and repossesed the car out from under us.
It was fun while it lasted. LOL

Nice pics! hey Mike, did you find the headlight covers making any difference in aerodynamics or performance? thanks
