i think its nice, it should blend in nicely along with the other high impact color cars out there it would have looked killer in it original hue but thats my .02

I can only say one thing for that kind of money you either go look at it in person or have somebody that you know and trust or hire to look at it .

Nice car, not my favorite body style, seems a little pricy to me.

Nearly 43 large for a 1970 R/T with an automatic seems high. If it were an a/c car or a 4-speed, I could see it. Plus it's from a dealer & whatever they tell you take with a grain of salt. They lie like a rug & will say anything and everything to make a sale.

They are down here by me and they flip a lot of cars. Just looking at how the trunk pan is patched in there would make you wonder how good all the other work was done. I'd say be sure and get it inspected because it may not be near as nice as they think it is. Good Luck Ronnie

Also, look at the way the passenger door and glass fit. I would expect better for the price............

I agree, that is a bit pricey, I would expect a Hemi in it for that kind of money at the least..

Just my two cents, the trunk floor is an issue like stated above, the trunk lid is high on the driver's side and don't even get me started on the headliner.

It looks like a halfway decent car, and I know it's a R/T, but it's not 2006 anymore when the prices were ski high. I wouldn't pay $43k for it, just saying.

If this car came through one of the bigger auctions I would guess it would bring about 30K, 35k tops. JMHO.

The headliner grabbed my attention too. Nice paint is often used to cover a host of issues, and looking at the crappy job they did on the headliner would worry me about how slipshod the bodywork or engine rebuilding is. Also, I saw they were very explicit in stating there is no warranty whatsoever on the car. If they don't trust their work, why should your friend?

I would think he would be better off buying a car for less from a private seller and using some of the price difference to get the car to where he wants it condition wise.

Thanks guys, for some reason I think I remember this car here in Cal a couple of years back when I was looking and it was in the same condition but for like $22?

It was a green car with green interior now plum w/black interior... That alone is enough to drive the price down 10-15k for me.

Yep I think $15 is fair too but I am sure that dealer/flipper will not think so lol. My friend is looking for a decent B-body If he is considering these prices he is ready to buy, I know he has cash from his wrecked cuda. If anyone is selling.

BM, Meep Meep has that beautiful 66 Hemi Charger, less then this guy wants for this..

The repairs they showed, were less than, a top quality job, $22K-$25K offer maybe... It's not 2006 any longer... There is a guy who has a 70 Charger Registry on www.DodgeCharger.com forum, maybe check with them, on some possible back ground, "there has been some money spent on that car", lots of good stuff too, people are pretty **** about color changes on Mopars too, effects resale... But I would be leery myself, look at it in person or hire a professional to look at it for you, I would go over it with a fine tooth comb, "twice"...
